With a decade of experience supporting artists in creative health, I use a sensitive and encouraging approach to nurture ideas, projects & challenges.

I can support individual artists to consider how to develop their own creative practice.

I love to spend time with artists considering how to develop their creative practice, alongside acknowledging their own mental and physical difficulties. I use a relational and flexible approach to consider how mentoring works to the best of our abilities. For some that is meeting in short bursts online, whilst for others it can be for longer sessions at my studio in South London. This is something that we always agree together to ensure that how meet and how we progress is mutually beneficial.

My strongest skills:

  • Navigating making work about your lived experience.

  • Considering how to support yourself in making work about lived experience, or working in challenging environments, focusing on self care.

  • Thinking about access support - how to devise what you need, how you communicate that, and the complex difficulties of highlighting accommodations needed in place.

  • Access support for funding or job applications.

  • How to approach funding applications for your work.

  • Understanding the landscape of arts & health.

  • How you talk or write about your creative practice.

  • Starting your own community or small arts organisation.

  • How to deliver socially engaged projects.

Working Together

As someone who has 20 years experience of working within creative health, considering how we work, exploring project design, funding, and care is really important to me. Our mentoring sessions will be mutually decided - perhaps meeting in person at my London studio, or meeting online for ease. Wherever possible I try to be flexible to ensure we can make the most of our time together.

Let’s go!

I love working on new projects. Get in touch with information about your ideas, what you’re looking for and your budget.

P.S. — I do not work for free.
