I’m looking forward to joining an array of wonderful speakers at author Rose Cartwright’s upcoming event on mental health on February 17th.
Rose Cartwright’s acclaimed memoir of growing up with OCD, Pure, has just premiered as a six part Channel 4 drama series.
To celebrate, Rose is hosting an evening of talks, screenings and discussion about the subject closest to her heart: mental health. Brought to you by the Made of Millions Foundation – the mental health nonprofit Rose co-founded, and OCD Action, the UK’s leading OCD charity.
Since writing Pure, Rose has sought out neuroscientists, neurosceptics, sufferers, psychonauts and more, to better understand her own mind. Tonight she invites a handful of them to share their perspectives.
With special guests including Sir Jonny Benjamin, activist and model Jada Sezer, photographic artist Daniel Regan and journalist and broadcaster Bryony Gordon, the evening will explore our current mental health crisis. What does it say about our world? And what can be done about it?
